ITF Africa communication workshop inspires communicators

Notícias

Sixteen ITF affiliates from across Africa attended the workshop, which ran from 31 July to 2 August. ITF Africa communications lead, Allan Munobwa, led the training, which evaluated and consolidated the ITF Africa communications training held in Togo in June 2012.

Munobwa and Natalie Bland, ITF web assistant, were on hand to present on a range of topics; from making strong presentations, to developing digital communications skills.

Participants had the opportunity to feed back on the work they had done since the Togo training, followed by a plenary session on how to manage the problems they had faced when applying their knowledge in the workplace.

Mompati Tumelo from the Botswana Railways Amalgated Workers’ Union (BRAWU) commented: “The workshop was a great experience and very inspiring. I have learnt new skills and built on my training from Togo”.

Hear Nkechi Egbe Obinna from the Air Transport Services Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (ATTSSSAN) on what she gained from the workshop.
