"HIGHWAY OF TEARS” - THE FUTURE OF CANADIAN PUBLIC TRANSPORT?

Worker stories

Canada was built on the railways. But railway worker Jennifer Murray is worried sick that government plans to privatise profitable parts of the rail network will rob many remote areas of decent public transport.

“So, what happens is people will hitchhike…” Dozens have gone missing. She is campaigning tirelessly against the plans. “Our government is not standing up and taking care of people.”
