16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence

Worldwide

The 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is a key international moment calling for an end to violence against women and girls. It runs from 25 November (the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women) until 10 December, Human Rights Day.

This year, the ITF focuses on the risks women workers face on the commute.  Women workers do not feel safe going to and from work, having to deal with unsociable hours when public transport is limited and there are fewer people around.

The ITF C190 Transport Workers Toolkit is a powerful tool to guide unions on utilising C190 language effectively and strengthen the momentum for ratification. You can use it to guide and support your action.
